I was supposed to post this earlier but, as you know, my/our schedule this week was totally jumbled up when hubby got sick. He was diagnosed first with a urinary tract infection then later on with dengue fever syndrome, too. Thank God he didn’t have to be confined though, and that he is doing well now with hydration therapy plus other natural remedies for dengue (which I shall post about next time — thanks, everyone, for your awesome suggestions).

So anyway, yes… this is another giveaway post! 🙂 I was blessed to have interviewed another fabulous mompreneur, Ivy Cruz of Boo Couture Par Lierre, for Smart Parenting a while ago. Her story is inspiring! 🙂

Exciting News + St. Patrick Baby and Numa Baby Amazing Grace Giveaways!

In case you haven’t seen my posts on or , well, THIS is the reason why I’ve been feeling so tired and lazy and grouchy (especially towards a few particular people):

I’m pregnant with our third child! 🙂 Another blessing from the Lord! We said when Rysse turns 3, puwede na siya sundan (literally “she can be followed {by another child}”), Lord! Well, God answered right away, didn’t He? 🙂

We found out this great news the very same day our friends laid their precious one-year-old to rest, and so our joy was still subdued and overshadowed by grief and mourning. Until now, my heart aches with Vania and Santi, and their other family members as well. I only pray that they will find the strength to move on from this — though I am sure they will. God is good and faithful!

So anyway, if you guys find me posting less on this blog and on social media, well, you know why now. Haha! Honestly, I’ve been really tired lately, and my back aches a lot (or maybe that’s because of something else, not my pregnancy! LOL!)

I’ve been asking around for a good OB, who is pro-breastfeeding and natural childbirth (though I never took Lamaze classes or other childbirth preparation classes, I was able to give birth anesthesia-free to both kids — by God’s grace!) and is affiliated with a hospital that we can afford! Haha! Any suggestions? (Pls. leave a comment below! :D)

month is almost over but there are still so many reasons to celebrate this great gift and privilege of being able to nourish our little ones! 🙂 Yes, breastfeeding truly is best and is one of THE best ways to provide perfect bonding moments between you and your child… even way beyond infancy! (Believe me, this is SO true! Our little girl is already three and still nurses!)

If you want proof, here are some great photos of a few members of NewlywedsAtWork or N@W. 🙂 Inspired by the of Stanley and Jenny Ong, Benz Co-Rana, the main momma behind and W@W (WeddingsAtWork), came up with a Breastfeeding Marathon Shoot, featuring some of the N@Wie moms and kids. One of my frustrations as a first time mom was that Jia was not able to latch and I was not able to directly breastfeed her. When Joya was born, Jia was almost 3years old and typical of an older kid, she wanted to do what Joya can do and thus, she started breastfeeding. Wild, right? 🙂
