When I first felt inspired to form a support group for homeschoolers a little over three years ago, I had no idea how God would move. Well, OK, I had an inkling, but it still amazes me how much He has blessed our group! This year, we’ll be having our third All Saints’ Day party, and we are SO blessed to have so many kind and generous individuals, brands and businesses as sponsors! Anyway, in case you’re wondering what ROCKERS means, it’s ROman Catholics Keeping Education Real. Although the group is mostly for Catholics, we do have members who are not Catholics. Most of us active members are currently homeschooling our children, and there are members who are still considering it, or have already stopped.
We mostly interact with one another on , but we do try to have regular meet-ups at least once every month! This year, we weren’t that successful because it was hard to organize one with everyone’s schedules, plus I was on bed rest and gave birth and all. So we’re all very excited for the All Saints’ Day party, which is our alternative to the usual Halloween parties that abound this time of year.
