My family and I will be going to Batangas later to join the other employees of Shepherd’s Voice for our company’s summer outing. I am so AWED by how God answers even the “shallowest” of my prayers!

You see, earlier this summer, my dad and brother and his family went for a beach getaway, and we couldn’t join them because of work and lack of funds. The kids felt a bit left out that their cousins all got to play in the sand and surf while they were stuck in the city. Hubby and I promised them we’d be able to go on a trip like that somehow, someday. 🙂

Well, I didn’t know then that that “somehow, someday” would come all too soon — just before the end of summer! God, YOU and Your grace are amazing indeed! 🙂

Anyway, I still need to pack for the trip, but I just couldn’t help blogging about the latest developments in my life as a family girl (see above!), writer and blogger:

1. Homeschooling on School Talk.ph
I am so blessed to be connected to other homeschool moms like Teachermama Monica! 🙂 Because of her, I was introduced to a great new website about education in the Philippines, School Talk. And as a bonus blessing, I was invited to be a regular contributor! AWESOME! Praise GOD! 🙂

When I did my last post for the 50 Days of Amazing Grace series, I asked everyone if they wanted it to be a regular feature on the blog, and I am so overwhelmed at the positive response! 🙂 I am humbled and happy that God uses this blog somehow, someway to touch other people! {Thank You, Lord, again!}

Needless to say, there will definitely be more Amazing Grace posts on this blog in the future, though maybe not on a daily basis. 🙂 In fact, I still have a few pending posts for the Amazing Grace for Moms series (sorry for the delay, ladies!). So watch out for those, too! 🙂
