Earlier this year, our family was able to go to the second Babypalooza Bazaar at the Walter Hogan Conference Center in the Ateneo de Manila University Campus. We went mostly to support my friends over at The Learning Basket, who had a booth there. We were also able to buy some cloth diapers on sale from , as part of our preparations for Anne’s birth. 🙂 As in the first Babypalooza Bazaar, we had a pleasant shopping (well, mostly browsing, ha, ha!) experience. 😉
So when Kat of Babypalooza asked if I could help promote their third bazaar, I agreed without any hesitation. Y’all may know that I have a soft spot in my heart for mompreneurs, and I try to support them as much as I can, in my own little way. 😉
Anyway, friends, let me invite you to the 3rd Babypalooza Bazaar this August! 🙂

Now on its third run, the Babypalooza Bazaar will still highlight the same features that made the first two bazaars unique and successful: equal exposure for both PRE-LOVED (i.e. gently used) and BRAND NEW items for babies, young children and expectant parents.
The Babypalooza Vendor Protection Program (VPP) will still be enforced to ensure that no two vendors of brand new items will be selling the exact same thing. This helps ensure that shoppers will not get bored from seeing the same merchandise over and over. Items that will be sold are necessities of parents and their children: clothing, shoes and accessories, gear, strollers/baby furniture, feeding bottles, nursing wear, breast pumps, skin care and cleaning products. Yummy, drool-worthy food products will also be sold during bazaar hours. All these at negotiable, easy-on-the-pocket prices!
To continue providing a family-friendly bazaar experience, special functionareas will still be available for free for all visitors, these are the following: Sulit breastfeeding station, The Maya Kitchen play area, 88DB Daddy Waiting Lounge and the Twins Lampein diaper change area. This event is also graced by the participation of WhenInManila.com as one of its online media partners.
Clean restrooms are also just a few steps away from the bazaar stalls for added convenience.

Now, before I continue with this post, let me put something out in the open; something I’ve been thinking about for quite some time. It’s been a while since I hosted a giveaway here, and I find it amusing that my good friend Martine (aka THE fabulous Dainty Mom herself!) and I were chatting recently about doing giveaways, attending events and other stuff bloggers are “expected” to do recently, especially after Martine wrote about writing your story.
Admittedly, I like being the “channel” of God’s blessings to other people by running giveaways, but sometimes it can be tiring and, in some instances, make one lose one’s blogging focus. (Go and read Martine’s post so you know what I mean!)
Having said that, let me tell you that I’ll still be doing giveaway posts, but I’ll be more selective this time! 😉
Anyway, let’s get started with this one by one of the Babypalooza vendors, AA’s Online Shoppe! Established in 2009, AA’s Online Shoppe is owned by Vera Marie Cruz, and specializes in wholesale and retail selling of ready to wear clothing for kids, adults as well as mom/dad and baby pairs.
Here’s what’s up for grabs:
1st prize: Animal print jumpshorts for a small to semi-large-sized mom and her 3 to 5 year old daughter.
2nd prize: Striped jumpshorts for a small to medium-sized mom and her 3 to 5 year old daughter
3rd prize: Animal print bowback dress for a small to medium-sized mom and her 3 to 5 year old daughter
Here are the mechanics and guidelines:
1. The giveaway is open to anyone with a PHILIPPINE shipping address. Prizes can be claimed at the Babypalooza Bazaar or shipped to the winners (not by me though, but by the sponsors of this giveaway. Just saying. :))
2. The giveaway will run until August 12 to August 16, 2013.
3. Winners will be notified via email and will also be announced on my Facebook page.
