Here’s a short post that will hopefully jumpstart your week with some inspiration and encouragement: In case you didn’t know, last week, the annual March for Life in the U.S. pushed through despite warnings of a huge blizzard affecting many areas in the U.S.
And, as indicated in this report from LifeSiteNews, a huge crowd still turned up for the March, all ready to proclaim the dignity and sacredness of human life.
What’s even more inspiring is what happened after the March itself. Many participants found themselves stranded on the roads going home, because of the ongoing blizzard and its effects — like this group, who were stranded on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and decided to celebrate Mass in the snow. They even built an altar out of the snow!
Videos and photos of that now-“historic” Mass have gone viral on social media. I saw a few over the weekend, and I found myself in tears while watching them! I thought it was perfect timing, too, after my last post on Mass being “boring,” plus the fact that the .
So, without further ado, here are two videos of part of that Mass — I hope we’ll all be inspired to proclaim, “Lord, I Need You!” during every circumstance of our lives! (I know I’ll be doing this especially as I will be giving birth, very, very soon!)
