{Off topic: As I write this, my grandfather is getting weaker and weaker by the minute. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer so this — coupled with his emphysema — has been causing him great difficulty in breathing. He is already 88 years old, and has lived a full life indeed, but we still hope for a miracle: that God will grant us at least a few more months with him! Please join us in praying for my Lolo! We, of course, surrender to God’s holy will!}

A non-stock, non-profit homeschooling program that is accredited in the Philippines (via the Philippine Department of Education), and in the U.S. (via a partnership with Walkersville Christian Family Schools). It is one of the pilot Home Education Programs (HEP) of the Philippine Department of Education, and currently has students enrolled in 21 different Philippine provinces and 17 different countries.TMA’s goal is to help families start out homeschooling in the best possible way that they can. They connect families to other homeschoolers on a regular basis via a co-op, in which the families meet together on a regular basis for cooperative learning, mutual encouragement, and support. TMA creates opportunities for homeschool kids to demonstrate their talents and gifts and opportunities for families to bless one another by the sharing of experiences with the TMA community and beyond.

A homeschooling program founded by Bo Sanchez and a team of homeschooling moms. CFA provides a Quick Start Training program to assist families who are homeschooling for the first time. Parent coaches help parents identify the learning style and reading type of the child so as to make homeschooling a better, more fulfilling experience. They help parents build a unique CFA standard lesson plan which maps out the subjects and activities for the school year. Parents can also get training through CFA-hosted Parenting Enrichment Seminars. There are optional CFA clubs the homeschool kids can join for the experience of learning with other kids. CFA holds support groups that get together on a quarterly basis for parents and kids to meet and encourage one another and share experiences and lessons.
ANNOUNCEMENT: CFA will be holding a Parents’ Orientation on March 6, 2014. Preschool to Grade school levels will be in the morning (9am-12nn) and High School will be in the afternoon (2pm-4pm). Please email or call Niki at local 111 for more details.
