This post is especially for my fellow homeschool mom blogger, Michelle, of Beyond Silver and Gold. It has been one month since Michelle’s baby boy, Zachary Daniel, went home to Heaven. I cannot imagine how she and her family are struggling every day to deal with their loss, just like many others who have lost their loved ones, especially their little ones. (Michelle shares Zac’s story in her own words here.)
To Michelle, and everyone else out there who may be facing dark times, may the Lord comfort you. May He hold you in His arms and remind You that He is mighty to save. Just like this family, who lost their seven-week-old baby to whooping cough, may we choose to worship and praise God, even during the difficult moments in our lives. Yes, even when death takes away a loved one. My God, your God, OUR GOD, is mighty to save!

This is a wonderful reminder, and something to ponder on. Here’s the Bible verse which is the inspiration behind the song.

As we go through the seemingly mundane routines of our everyday lives, let us remember that LIFE is a GIFT. Let’s use this gift well! All for His glory! 🙂
