Did you guys know that malunggay or moringa is considered a very healthy food? Check out the benefits of consuming it below (Source: Moringa Book – Trees for Life.Org, as seen on ):
Moringana’s “head mom,” , also has useful health tips to share with us:
When the flu season strikes… I always make this home remedy, a blend of ginger, turmeric and all malunggay leaves simmered/boiled in drinking water. You can throw in your favorite herbal tea. Prevention from nasty viruses include eating/drinking foods high in antioxidants and phytos, getting enough sleep and avoiding sweets. My friends bring a box/stock of Moringana whenever they travel as a go-to supplement to boost up resistance against fatigue and viruses.
The good news is you don’t have to go through the hassle of looking for fresh or dried malunggay leaves, especially if you’re in a hurry. 🙂 Moringana capsules contain dried malunggay powder, so it has all the benefits listed above.
Now, for the great news — get the chance to experience the healthy goodness of Moringana by joining this week’s giveaway! 🙂 Just like the previous giveaways, here are the terms and conditions:

I always ensure to include veggies and fruits in our daily mealplan.Thank God there’s a malunggay tree near our house but I agree that sometimes it is a hassle to prepare fresh malunggay leaves and include them as an ingredient in viands. Aside from eating healthy, my daughter and I usually walk to the church and to the nearest park as our exercise

I have learned to carefully read labels. My son is currently on an anti-inflammatory diet, so any artificial ingredients and preservatives are not allowed (among a host of other types of food). I have also applied this to myself, though I’m not too hard on myself when I indulge in my favorite foods like chocolates and chips. I try to find healthier alternatives for these vices, which I can’t really seem to quit.
I drink water a lot (definitely at least 8 glasses a day), although when I get too busy with work, there are times when I do forget until I feel the lack of water get to me. Yes, even when I work from home and the water dispenser is mere meters away. So I make it a point to get up every hour, and have a glass of water.
